I also tried the Video Recorder option but neither audio or video dropdowns were detected. Recently i was going to capture and old VHS tape to it, clicked the Record tab of the menu which goes to the record source (DV/HDV/Video etc), choosing the Video source i get 'no recording device is detected in your system'. Previously the Vidbox NW03 worked fine in Win 7.

If you don't want these settings all the time just save it as a different desktop user to log into.I've got Movie Edit Pro 17 on Windows 10 but used to have in Windows 7 but Windows display files were slightly corrupted so i had to upgrade to 10.
That needs to be switched off if you want to get the best from your microphone.

It's always good to give as much information as you can.Ī quick internet search showed that the Vidbox comes with its own software, so the first question would be does it work OK with the supplied software? If it does record OK then it's a software issue and you should stick to that software for capturing and conversion.
